Muscular / Postural imbalances – Muscular imbalances result in poor posture due to stresses and strains on the spinal column. This is often caused by things you do as a habit and a lifestyle with little physical activity or repetitive movements. Misalignments cause muscle imbalance, which may lead to fatigue, restricted movements, pain and injury, such as neck and shoulder pain from sitting at a computer too long.
Treatment include mobilising joints and releasing tight muscles, changing habits that are causing the underlying problem and strengthening weaker muscles to correct the body’s alignment and movement control.
