Groin pain / strain
A Groin strain happens when you overstretch or tear an Adductor muscle that attaches near the groin. This injury is common in athletes and can result from running, jumping or sudden changes in direction. You may experience inner thigh or groin pain and discomfort which may or may not limit movement.
Treatment includes rest, ice, taping, gentle stretching, massage. Therapy can be useful for guiding for speeding up recovery.
