Subacromial impingement

The shoulder has one of the biggest ranges of motion of all the joints in the body. As a result it can be susceptible to a number of different injuries and painful pathologies.

Subacromial impingement is a compression of one or more soft tissue structures in the small space at the top of the shoulder. Pain and weakness is often experienced in overhead activities and with direct compression to the joint i.e lying on same side. With stretching, joint mobs and pain management techniques movement can be restored and pain reduced.
