Peter Lacey

Athletic Therapist (ATT)

Peter is a graduate of Dublin City University having obtained a BSc in athletic therapy and training in 2018. Since graduating, he has spent his time working both in academic research and with various high-level sports teams.

Peter has worked as the lead therapist Irish u20 men’s basketball team, travelling to the European championships. He is also the lead therapist for the DCU Siggerson cup winning football team and Fitzgibbon cup hurling teams. He has also worked with national sporting organisations including Tennis Ireland, Swim Ireland and the Camogie Association.

Peter’s research interests include injury prevention, groin injuries and injury epidemiology. He has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and helped co-author the injury prevention chapter of the Camogie Association’s Player Welfare Booklet.

He is  a firm believer in evidence-based practice and aims to implement the latest research and evidence into his treatment.
