Rotator cuff injury
The shoulder has one of the biggest ranges of motion of all the joints in the body. As a result it can be susceptible to a number of different injuries and painful pathologies.
The rotator cuff is a collection of 4 muscles designed to stabilise the shoulder joint. Through trauma, poor posture, age related change or repeated stress these can become weak, and in some cases tear. This can result in pain and discomfort in certain daily activities. Clinical exam and sometimes MRI is needed to identify and injuries to theses muscles.
