Heel Spurs

These are a bony growth of the bone in the heel – the calcaneus. These can manifest as Achilles pain of pain radiating into the sole of the foot. They can result from tight muscles and fascia surrounding the heel. Imaging is sometimes needed to identify these and once identified we can access the most appropriate treatment.

Foot injuries can be treated with a number of different modalities including Physiotherapy, Sport Physician, Acupuncture and Nutrition.
